Role Function -

• Drive the business in Ireland to grow market share.

About you -

• Excellent presentation skills are required
• Must be able to demonstrate success in developing relationships with key medical personnel
• Good reporting writing skills
• Some Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and PowerPoint
Qualifications required -

Degree in Human Nutrition/Dietetics/Science

OR

Midwifery or Nursing Qualification

• Outgoing and friendly personality who has the ability to function alone and as part of a team
• The ability to establish trust and creditability on technical/nutrition issues with relevant opinion leaders, health professional groups, patients and other stakeholders

Experience required -

A new Clinical Nurse Manager 2 job has come in for ICU in a Hospital in Dublin -

Qualifications / Experience:

1.                  Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais.

2.                  At least five years recent post-registration nursing experience (full-time or equivalent hours part-time) in an acute hospital setting and a minimum of three years nursing experience in intensive care nursing.

3.                  A recognised post-registration nursing course / higher diploma in Intensive Care Nursing.

4.                  A health care management qualification preferably at third level.

5.                  Proven clinical and professional management ability, risk management, clinical audit, leadership and communication skills.

6.                  Competence in the use of information technology.

1. Key Responsibilities:

Manage the intensive care unit taking responsibility for the delivery and co-ordination of nursing services for all ICU patients.

This Clinic is a new concept in Irish renal dialysis care.
 It consists of a series of clinics dedicated to the treatment of patients with renal failure and has been established to supplement and support the existing renal services being offered in the public health service.

We are currently looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join the team in the Galway clinic. The Renal Dialysis Nurse will work as part of the Dialysis Team and will take personal responsibility and accountability for ensuring that policies and procedures are known and followed and will ensure duties are carried out in accordance with the advisory guidelines and practice set out in An Board Altranais.

Essential Requirements -

? Registered Nurse with current An Board Altranais licence to practice.
? Evidence of continued professional development i.e. a professional portfolio and participation in appraisal and development review.
? Completion of training for additional clinical skills required in the unit i.e. IV drug administration/cannulation & venepuncture.
? Competence in the use of computers and electronic communication systems or expectation to develop existing skills further as the needs of the service dictate.
? Evidence of an ability to critically appraise and utilise research to maintain and improve patient care.
