Woundcare Support Specialist
At Jackie Brown Medical, we are currently looking for a Woundcare Support Specialist for one of our clients in Dublin.
This Clinical Support Specialist will work very closely with their Territory Manager promoting Company Therapies to both Healthcare professionals and patients in both acute and non-acute settings.
Responsibilities will include:
- Co-Ordinate with hospital, community care & company team, the seamless discharge on therapies from acute to non-acute settings
- To work closely with Public Health and other Homecare Nurses in ensuring patients receive optimum care. This will involve visiting patients in homecare settings and educating both medical staff and patients for optimum use of therapies.
- To deliver training and conduct workshops for healthcare professionals on an as needed basis.
- To be an expert clinical resource for both internal and external customers
Experience & Qualifications:
- A professional medical qualification is essential (eg, RGN)
- Previous clinical experience in woundcare would be viewed favourably
- Previous Sales and/or Nurse Advisory experience would be viewed favourably
- Previous experience of educating through group presentations
- Full clean driving licence
- IT/MS Office proficient
The ideal candidate for this position will have a high level of integrity, be self motivated, driven and a self-starter. They should have excellent relationship building skills and be caring and patient focused. They should have excellent communication skills and an ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships.
