Nurse Manager required for Homecare

We have a super new Nursing job in for a Clinical Services Nurse Manager for a Homecare Service in Dublin -

This is a young growing dynamic organisation and well on their way to becoming Irelands leading
provider of Home Care. They have a number of current clients and care
staff members which they are looking to expand significantly in the near future through HSE
Contracts and Private Contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with them and be a team
leader.
The Candidate
We are looking for a qualified registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years post qualification
experience. The candidate should be a flexible, enthusiastic, self starter who is looking for an
opportunity to progress their career and grow with the company. They must have good leadership
and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Lead the team in the planning, coordination and rostering of the carers and nurses
providing services to our clients
• Meeting new clients, carry out client assessments and prepare care plans taking into
consideration the lifestyle, gender and background of the resident
• Identify, develop and implement quality and risk management initiatives
• To initiate new ideas and methods and encourage staff to do same
• Continuously evaluate care needs with other members of the nursing team and ensure
that care plans and records are up-to-date and accurate. Continually seek to improve the
care delivered to clients
• Participate in continuous process improvements and make recommendations for change
with regards to clinical and non-clinical policy
• Participate in orientation and education programmes contributing towards the
development of nursing and non-nursing staff and to coordinate arrangements for same
• To assist in investigating accidents, injuries, mishaps and complaints and to report and
record in accordance with the agreed company policy
• Keep the General Manager informed of any relevant issues
Person Specific Requirements:
• Qualified registered nurse with a minimum of 5 years experience
• Registered with An Bord Altranais
• Experience of nursing policies, care planning and Person centred planning
• Demonstrate good organisation skills, ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Full clean drivers licence and own transport
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
