Nurse Manager/ Coordinator

required for Carlow/ Wicklow border based Care facility.

This specially built Care Unit within a residential home requires a Nurse Manager/ Coordinator to lead a team of Staff nurses and healthcare assistants.

Currently a 14 bed unit and with plans for expansion to a 24 bedded unit, this Care Unit is a top of the range equipped unit who is looking for a leader for their team.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified RGN with current and up to date ABA registration
• 4 years min recent Clinical experience
• Have experience to Senior Staff Nurse minimum
• Some experience in Care of the Elderly

This Nurse Manager/ Coordinator must live locally due to it’s remoteness.

You will also have an astute awareness of all that is required on any Care Unit/ Ward and act as a mentor to those less qualifies/ experienced. You may also be required to assess the CPD on the ward as and when required.

Working Hours - 9-5 (or 8-4)

Salary - €40 - 50K

We have 2 Staff Nurse jobs in Wicklow.

This Palliative Care Centre based in West Wicklow is seeking 2 experienced Geriatric Staff Nurses for Night Duty.

Small and friendly setting.

Must be registered with ABA, fluent in English and experienced in Gerontology.

A minimum of 3 years Post Grad experience in required.

These Staff Nurses will have full responsibility for the patients at night.

Ideally, a car owner, living in the Carlow or West Wicklow, Blessington area.

This Client values their Staff.

They would like to hear from Staff Nurses with a genuine commitment and experience in Gerontology/Elderly Care with a minimum of 2 years experience.

Ideally, you would need to be a car owner and live in Carlow or West Wicklow.

Must have ABA Registration - An Bord Altranais.

Must be fluent in English and willing to commit as this is a permanent Nursing job.
