Where have all the Nurses gone?

WHERE HAVE ALL THE NURSES GONE?

Good morning,

I am wondering where have all the Nurses gone?

In particular the Specialist ones - Occupational Health Nurses and Practice Nurses?

They are a Specialist Group, but there is little movement currently within the Nursing market in terms of jobs choices and offers of permanency, so when jobs come up seeking these Specialist Nurses, I am surprised they are so hard to find.

We have had 2 recent Occupational Health Nurse job seeking Senior OH Nurses.

We have also had 2 Practice Nurse jobs within Dublin, again seeking Senior Practice Nurses.

The feedback seems to be that nobody wants to change job in this time of uncertainty and will hold on to what they have with both hands in case it slips.

Understandable.
